If you need a new shower pan or tile, then a contractor is your first call. When your shower is ready for glass, you are ready for us!
Once your tile is ready, our estimators will do a free estimate at your home and can quickly arrange an appointment time that is convenient for you.
We return to our shop to generate a custom quote for your shower enclosure. The quote will be emailed to you, generally in just 1-2 business days.
To proceed with the order a 50% deposit can be made any time of day or night on www.carmelglass.com or by calling our office at 317-846-4864. Shower glass is cut to your specifications and then tempered. Once the glass and hardware are fabricated and complete our scheduling department will arrange a time with you for installation.
On the day of installation our team will arrive and assess the area, tarp and prep as needed, then bring in the glass and hardware. Glass panels that meet may be taped while the sealants dry. If necessary, weatherstripping is applied to the bottom and sides of the door to help keep water contained in the shower. It is important to note shower enclosures are not aquariums; they will not be totally watertight.
We will leave you with a free squeegee and a shower tag reminding you to wait 24 hours before your first shower to allow the sealants to dry. Remove any tape on the panels as well. Should you have any tape residue, wipe with alcohol to remove. If you purchased a shower glass water coating be sure to register your warranty online. Over time, weather-stripping can become stiff and wear out with daily operation. This vinyl strip will be something that needs to be replaced over time.
